ep Assets uses its Falcon technology platform to overcome grid constraints for Landowner

Falcon was able optimise the design of a solar PV, battery storage and EV charging system which significantly reduces both the capital cost of the grid connection and long-term operating cost by delivering lower cost, renewable power to the future tenants.

Additional revenue potential from EV Charging and flexibility services is also part of the prospective value stack.  Grid constraints are increasingly a problem for property developers and owners of all types and ep Assets integration of best in class solar, battery and EV charging equipment can overcome grid constraints and reduce energy costs, reduce carbon emissions, generate new sources of income, and increase asset value.

The programme aims to rebuild Ukraine’s energy system, displace fossil fuels and to support post-war recovery. Ukraine has a well-developed renewable energy industry that is actively looking to expand storage to support grid resilience, for which there is a clear and growing need for effective energy management systems. This is the wider challenge that the project aims to help solve.

"The Falcon platform was a key early investment we made as part of the capitalisation of the Group’s distributed energy business. As part of the value stack, it gives us the ability to quickly evaluate, challenge and propose alternative solutions to the very real problems that many of our clients are facing from grid constraints when considering expansion or new developments."
