Alex has been an entrepreneur in the clean energy sector for around 15 years. He founded respected energy analytics business EEVS Insight in 2011 and has led a number of consultancy teams, advising corporate and public sector clients on energy strategies and developing innovative business models that make sense of energy efficiency. Alex holds a Masters degree in electrical engineering from Imperial College London and an MBA from Ashridge Business School, and is a Chartered Engineer. Alex has spent his entire career trying to address climate change, which he views as an unprecedented opportunity for creating a better, more equitable world. 

Minh has recently completed a Master’s degree in Climate Change, Management and Finance at the Imperial College London through which she gained in-depth knowledge and skills in fields including cleantech investment, climate finance, sustainable strategy. Driven by impact and having gained study and work experience in multiple countries, she is passionate about the implementation of net-zero projects in different geographic and cultural contexts, as well as about international collaboration in climate action.

Armin is a multifaceted professional and entrepreneur with more than 15 years of international experience working on clean energy topics in public and private sector organisations. He is fluent in English, French and German, and maintains an extensive global network in the energy sector. Armin is passionate about the role of policies and governance in driving the transition to a sustainable, low carbon energy system.

Miti holds a First-Class, integrated master’s degree in chemistry from the University of Edinburgh, having gained in-depth knowledge in the science behind global warming and energy efficiency. Her involvement in a multitude of environmental projects over the years has also developed her expertise in sustainability. She was the Vice Director in a social enterprise, in which she led the department of research on biodegradable materials that resulted in the development and launch of a novel, reusable sanitary pad into the UK feminine hygiene market. Thus, Miti hopes to amalgamate her knowledge of environmental chemistry with her expertise in energy efficiency to deliver scientifically backed sustainability solutions to help SMEs achieve their net zero goals.

Connor provides an interdisciplinary background ranging from data structures to environmental economics and sociotechnical change. Connor earned a First-Class Master of Natural Sciences degree for his novel research into market-based carbon accounting and corporate signalling at the University of East Anglia, where he founded and continues to support the “Any Last Words?” climate communication competition, highlighting a long-standing commitment to improve science communication and climate engagement as a public good. 

Delvin has worked in the energy sector for 20 years, creating and growing successful energy services businesses for companies such as EDF and delivering comprehensive energy and carbon strategies to a number of FTSE 250 and public sector organisations.

Gary has 35 years’ experience leading Architecture and multi-disciplined Green Infrastructure Design teams from his base in Hampshire. His focus is to minimise impact and energy use in the construction and whole life operation of all projects whether new build or refurbishment. Gary is Chair of the AECB and sits on the Board of Future South and the Steering Group of Green Halo. He regularly speaks at and chairs events and brings his commercial contacts and experience.

Kathryn is driven by the desire to create a better world and believes that communications and collaboration sit at the heart of enabling that. For the last 20 years she has helped household names deliver transformational changes in technology, transport and the built environment. Now delighted to be part of ep’s journey to inspire and assist businesses and people to play their part in delivering net zero and secure a healthy, sustainable future for our planet.

Leo is a former army officer, civil engineer, and seasoned financier, with a specialist interest in sustainability and the delivery of social goals alongside financial ones. Leo’s conviction is garnered from pathfinding roles in military engineering, disaster relief, regeneration, and impact investing, where he has witnessed the power of collective ambition. 

Lucy provides marketing support for both ep consultancy projects and the wider ep group. Lucy has worked as a freelance consultant in energy and resource efficiency sectors for 15 years, working for organisations delivering circular economy programmes, energy performance contracting (EPC) and energy management services.

Matt is a public speaker and a lifelong sustainability practitioner in the net zero and circular economy, with experience working in both corporates and SMEs. He built a sustainability and energy services business for a FTSE100 to deliver energy efficiency, renewables, and resource recovery projects for a variety of public and private sector clients. He was involved in putting the Zero Waste concept into practice in New Zealand in the 1990’s and from his first job with Greenpeace, he has maintained a passion for sustainability with a goal of making it mainstream. 

Mike has 30 years commercial and corporate experience in the development of businesses and projects in distributed energy and the built environment. His career has spanned start up, early-stage business through to the large corporate arena having worked at executive board and divisional level for a FTSE 250 outsourcing and energy services company. Mike joined ep in 2016 to support the firm’s strategy of catalysing and investing directly into businesses and developments which create demonstrable impact in the UK’s energy transition.

Rupert has been working in architecture practices since the completion of a master’s degree in Sustainable Building Design with Distinction in Southampton. He has developed a holistic approach to reducing the carbon footprint of buildings by focussing on the social, economic, and environmental aspects of architecture and design. He has also studied and practised globally renowned environmental assessment methods such as BREEAM, LEED and Passivhaus. Rupert has a true passion for sustainable architecture and is looking forward to driving exemplar, environmentally focussed schemes and low impact, high-performance buildings.

With extensive experience in the industry of collaborative 3D design, Tristan leads the co-ordination of building information modelling across all in-house architectural projects, managing this new approach to project delivery in the form of interactive shared data between all involved parties. With an honours degree in Architectural Technology, Tristan also leads the technical delivery, detailing building junctions and researching different construction methodologies to ensure the most efficient, resilient and sustainable final result.

Steve has extensive commercial finance and M&A transaction experience within energy services businesses, supported by a Global Energy MBA from Warwick Business School. He also guided local government in the delivery of their distributed energy strategies. Steve joined the ep group in 2017 excited by the prospect of working with a like-minded team, passionate about facilitating the energy transition. As with the wider ep group, Steve is driven by delivering equitable business solutions to client’s that enables a long-term impact for positive change. 

Steve is an author, public speaker, and global pioneer, driven in the pursuit of net zero and a regenerative economy. Steve has had significant impact on the energy transition in the UK and beyond with his work with corporates, investors, public sector bodies and governments. Steve is committed to implementing strong leadership and governance based on equitable and ethical business principles.
